    So simple.and compact.

  2. @kathys53 on March 6, 2025 at 3:05 pm

Nice! Just be careful with the trick candle. A friend of mine absolutely thought she finally extinguished it, but after a considerable amount of time it lit again. Benefit vs risk?

  3. @josepaixao6519 on March 6, 2025 at 3:06 pm

This is amazing! So many great ideas! Will definitely try and replicate! Would only do 2 minor changes:
    > take out the 2 tinder tabs and, with the same size, put one of those shrink towels )the ones you drop water to grow) – this can act as tinder, help you clean yourself and used with the tape as a bandaid;
    > add a mini eye drop plastic vial, to clean your eyes in case something gets there…
Would probably lose the fresno and mirror and replace with some heavy duty aluminium foil to boil some water

Again, amazing! How the heck did you fit so much stuff in there? Looked like those old cartoons where the hero had a sports bag and could pull everything out of there! lol!

  4. @DavidPinner-r9w on March 6, 2025 at 3:08 pm

I like the upside down batteries

  5. @lesterolson5526 on March 6, 2025 at 3:11 pm

Have you ever looked at carrying an X-acto knife in a toothbrush holder.

I can dig in a toolbox without worrying about cutting myself on an open blade.

  6. @wirawhitebelt7364 on March 6, 2025 at 3:11 pm

    👍

  7. @winstonbelisle3560 on March 6, 2025 at 3:11 pm

I generally use Schick injector razors in small things made, for cutting ware.

  8. @christiansfortruth5953 on March 6, 2025 at 3:12 pm

That was pretty neat. Well thought out. It looks like it could be very effective. Thanks. In going to make one.😮😮😮

  9. @jackhill436 on March 6, 2025 at 3:13 pm

You should think about carrying a tube of super glue for wound closure

  10. @VTK72 on March 6, 2025 at 3:13 pm

    ❤❤❤

  11. @paulbarrett3361 on March 6, 2025 at 3:13 pm

Thanks again Jim, i love all your inexpensive ways to create servival goods.

  12. @nazismomsrhos on March 6, 2025 at 3:14 pm

Stick the weights in with the hooks saves that little bit of space for a flashlight battery or whatnot

  13. @SebastianSynn18252 on March 6, 2025 at 3:14 pm

Great neck kit. I know it’s a long shot, but do you happen to remember the name of that Energizer flashlight?

  14. @leschatsont9vies on March 6, 2025 at 3:14 pm

Like this a lot thank you !

  15. @STBLA1SE on March 6, 2025 at 3:14 pm

You should never ever use Paracord as a necklace for anything. It’s 550 for a reason unless you’re 600 pounds do you might hang yourself if you fell

  16. @smug_cat1 on March 6, 2025 at 3:14 pm

Way too much slow now action pointless rambling

    Get yo the point
And do it with some action

  17. @smileysatanson3404 on March 6, 2025 at 3:15 pm

  19. @STho205 on March 6, 2025 at 3:20 pm

I found some digital camera belt pouches in a thrift store for 50c or $1. I bought 3.

I stick everything I need hiking for a day in that velcroed to my pants belt…including a poncho and a small hiking tarp, as well as a lighter, some bandages and wipes.

  20. @greyscout01 on March 6, 2025 at 3:21 pm

I don’t know how this got past me for 7 months, but I’m glad I found it. Very well thought out. A neck kit on cord is truly a comfortable way to carry things for me. Thanks.

  21. @calebswanson462 on March 6, 2025 at 3:24 pm

    ,superglue 🗡

  22. @mfmasvil on March 6, 2025 at 3:25 pm

Nice kit but why didn’t you add a simple butane gas lighter? (in the back, next to the knife, it would fit perfectly)

  23. @lindaaaron9653 on March 6, 2025 at 3:27 pm

Even though the outside safety pin is secured with duct tape, I am not comfortable having a sharp pin by my neck.

  24. @dannyhigginbotham6635 on March 6, 2025 at 3:28 pm

Very helpful, awesome information. I’m going to make one, thank you.

  25. @garygraham4571 on March 6, 2025 at 3:30 pm

    Kool kit bro

  26. @freakygardener8033 on March 6, 2025 at 3:31 pm

Nice little kit, but I would suggest, tape the needles, and exacto blades inside the top lid. That way, they are less likely to fall out, and get lost.

  27. @7JeTeL7 on March 6, 2025 at 3:35 pm

3:40 unblowable „trick birthday candle“ is brilliant idea!

  28. @puppiesarepower3682 on March 6, 2025 at 3:37 pm

I propose a new challenge; make a survival kit using the inside barrel of an empty BiC Pen.

  29. @terryfallert1371 on March 6, 2025 at 3:38 pm

You are so good for all ages to learn these important lessons thanku

  30. @Huntnlady7 on March 6, 2025 at 3:40 pm

And this is your compact survival kit… until you need to go by the courthouse for jury duty and forget you are wearing it and land in a heap of trouble!

Thanks for watching. Please leave me a comment and a thumbs up (or a thumbs down!). Your support and views are always appreciated!

    Very interesting,survival neck kit…I like it,I’m sold…..Great Idea Buddy,Thanx

  33. @denniswilkins4514 on March 6, 2025 at 3:42 pm

Add 2 survival blankets and you can sleep well. I would have my single shot 22 and 22 pistol for added comfort and security.

  34. @Georgecobb-s1v on March 6, 2025 at 3:46 pm

That’s a great little kit. Regardless of the size or style of any particular kit, I have an unanswered question: If flying, is it possible to have any cutting implements which airlines will approve? IIam Old School (age 82) & if I don’t have a knife or cutting edge with me, I feel "undressed!" Any suggestions from you and/or your readers will be appreciated. God bless you. The Old Preacher

  35. @shepfc1962 on March 6, 2025 at 3:46 pm

Awesome I use also my pellets for my pellet gun can put stuff in

  36. @ravendon on March 6, 2025 at 3:46 pm

Just be careful of cords around your neck. You can accidentally strangle yourself. If you don’t use breakaway dog tag chain, it’s safer to simply put the cord through a few belt loops and wear it at your waist.

  37. @oldfarmer9004 on March 6, 2025 at 3:47 pm

You do a nice job with your videos. I enjoy watching. That being said, I feel like if I need a survival kit that size (I’ve seen a bunch on YouTube), whatever I was doing went sideways and it would be a dire situation. I don’t think it would really keep the average person alive very long. But, I’m not trying to slam you. I’m just going to try to be a little bit more prepared. ✌️

  38. @swalker8402 on March 6, 2025 at 3:48 pm

Trick candle is smart. This is the first I heard of that

  39. @unfi6798 on March 6, 2025 at 3:48 pm

Great minimalist for urban & woodlands. Cheers mate.

  40. @trava4156 on March 6, 2025 at 3:48 pm

It’s ok…but you already have your normal sized EDC right? Which you probably carry a knife, a lighter, a flashlight, etc.
not to be that guy, but wouldn’t it make sense to have additional supplementary or specialized equipment in that micro kit?
Fresnel lenses, you got a compass, maybe fishing equipment, whistle, marker panel? Idk

  41. @kingsclownvideos on March 6, 2025 at 3:50 pm

    Very Helpful. Thanks.

  42. @TCK71 on March 6, 2025 at 3:50 pm

    Excellent kit!

  43. @Blrtech77 on March 6, 2025 at 3:50 pm

    Awesome!

  44. @paweszymonjasinski7158 on March 6, 2025 at 3:52 pm

Instead of braiding regular way paracord you could use single strand of paracord and braid it so it can be untied in one motion. No idea how it’s called in english but it’s basicly quick relase knot or horseman’s knot repated over and over to requested lenght.

  45. @g-r-a-e-m-e- on March 6, 2025 at 3:53 pm

That was quite amazing. It’s astonishing that you’ve crammed so many useful things into a tiny space.

  46. @thomasd9237 on March 6, 2025 at 3:54 pm

    👍👍

  47. @supernoobsmith5718 on March 6, 2025 at 3:58 pm

Not bad, but where’s the tarp? 😉

  48. @lonewolfoutdoors4606 on March 6, 2025 at 3:58 pm

That is a lot of stuff for that small tin. No sure about those little knifeblades but its nice to have i guess. I would use them for some sort of spear or arrowhead. Think you get the most use out of them that way.

  49. @scottcatchot1598 on March 6, 2025 at 4:02 pm

    nice kit

  50. @miraxus6264 on March 6, 2025 at 4:02 pm
