Looks good enough, the lightweight part would be great for backpacking. However, if you are car or motorcycle camping, the Kermit Chair is unbeatable. Built out of White Oak and reinforced with aluminum, it has a lifetime warranty, and options of leg extensions and a cupholder. I know the guys that own the company, and the guys that do the wood and metal work in the shop in Tennessee. Quality folks and craftsmanship. You should do a review on the Kermit Chair. You only have to buy one!
Biggest problem I see with chairs like these is they have tiny legs that sink in if you’re on sand or soft ground.
I have one for my backpack, one for my car trunk. I use them at picnics, camping, outdoor sporting events as they are much more comfortable than bleachers. The end loops on carrying bag can be placed over chair frame before installing fabric seat to provide a zippered container for "stuff", cellphone, wallet, sunscreen, bug repellent, sunglasses, etc. Cheers

I honestly want to bring this on any vacation where I might be walking for a long distance and the pedestrian infrastructure is lacking in benches.

The cool thing about this chair that it can be stored in a small bag….. It can also be used on the outdoor driving range where there are no benches….
Brilliant chair. My friends laughed at me when they saw I was carrying a bit extra for our 5 day wild camp. Little did they know the chair weighed very little and attached to the bag with ease. The night before it had rained and it had remained rather damn throughout the day, so as we set up camp and prepared to cook some food it was I who had the dry bum and not those who laughed and my tiny chair.
